Hopefully someone can help me out, my PC went **** up over the weekend
and i have not 100% sure what the problem is.
Unfortunately, I wasnt about when it failed, but it was described as white flash on the screen, possible power surge but cant be sure.
intially the machine rebooted, but with memory errors and and errors stating the graphics card wasnt working correctly
I messed about with memory, and the machine booted up OK (in failsafe), and everything else appeared OK.
The next day I put in some spare memory, now the machine passes memory test but fails to reconise the HDA. (I fitted the orginal memory back in)
Machine passes the memory tests
but still fails to see the HDA.
I am not sure what is causing the problems, my guess is the mothercard is faulty, but due to the way the faults have varied not 100%
What do you guys think.
