I have a TV at work which is used to display, figures etc. It's a crap tv with no dlna support etc but does support hdmi and a usb stick. At present we simply use a google slides presentation (we have Google business Apps accounts) saved as photographs and then use the tvs slideshow feature, this is not ideal either as it changes photo too quickly for people to read the text.

The second issue is that we are not allowed to connect the device to the internet at work due to stupid company restrictions, ideally I would like something that is easy to update via bluetooth? or something from a iPad that can also sit behind the tv without being too large or expensive.

Your ideas/thoughts would be great! Thanks!

i was thinking about those, seems a little overkill for essentially a very simple task, I was also interested in a bit more detail on how I would update it with no wifi

already tried that, doesn't support videos on usb, the reason I wanted to use hdmi or a usb android stick was that we are also restricted on plugging in usb drivers into work computers so ideally the file needs to be changed via bluetooth/airplay, or just edited whilst on the tv via phone/tablet

No price hinting at other places as OcUK sell them.

You can update them using a USB stick I think?, though if it works then there wouldn't really be a need to update if it's not buggy etc
It's not exactly what you are looking for though, and being only bluetooth or so it might be a problem setting it up...
