Hi Guys

Sadly I am coming to you with some bad news but also with some positives.

For many years now we have worked closely on a partnership with Hardware Labs.

Their Black Ice series of radiators has always proved popular with you guys as performance enthusiasts and I have spent a lot of my own time championing their brand to our customers.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of my own control, we are no longer going to be listing Hardware Labs at OcUK.

Our current stock will continue to be sold, but after we have sold out of each line, it will be removed and no longer available from the OcUK website.

From this point onwards, our primary radiator brand at OcUK will be XSPC and we will be looking to introduce radiators from other interesting brands too.

I don't see this as a major loss for us and I hope that you as customers understand that we support and push brands who support our customer base.

If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them in this thread.

I would rather not at the risk of looking unprofessional over the matter.

All I will say is that it wasn't a decision we made.

Hmmm, that's a shame. At least XSPC get even more of a market which is never a bad thing.

There are a few radiators that would be nice to see on ocuk though, not sure how visible they are to stock though! No doubt your aware of them and would stock them if you could. Il mention it to ya when I next speak to you though!

What happens with warranties ect

we will of course look after our customers. the manufacturer legally also has to as well.

let me know. as long as its not Phobya or Alphacool, I'm all ears.

Arrrr sad news. Recently bought a Black Ice rad from yourselves.

they are great products. its not ideal to see them go but there are worthy competitors on the market that we still list.

The main point of this thread is to keep you guys in the loop rather than questions being asked on the forums.

As new as I am to this forum, it's really nice to see how open you guys are.

Really makes me want to support you and purchase from a company that interacts with its user base. Such a rare thing to see :D

Why is Alphacool a no?

Alphacool is distributed & linked closely with AquaTuning who we dont buy from.

Also, I am very open with customers about what we list in the WC section of our site.

I only list stuff I would use myself. Take from that what you wish.

Hi Xyger and welcome to the forums :)

as the Product manager for around 50% of the products on our website, it is important to get the community assisting me. I cant be there to answer every single thread and on occasion some people may miss it when we post publicly about things like this.

doing things this way means that community members can reference back to threads like this when the question gets asked each time.

I feel that honesty really is the best policy. It works well as it means our customers have a full understanding of why we do things.

It also provokes reactions from companies too as they know that when they give it the big one with us, that we have zero issue publicising their actions be it positive or negative.

glad to have you on board :)

I know what happened, and appreciate this thread with just enough info to let people know while being professional about why.

As far as rads go, haven't checked the OcUK store much but XSPC and EK will cover most people, while Aquacomputer/Watercool will provide a different aesthetics look for others.

Shame, as i really like there SR1 rads :(
Used a few GT Stealth a while back for my Parvum build, good rads. The only letdown i found with them was the screws that were included :o

XSPC and EK make decent alternatives however.
