Hardware Monitor Screen - Looking for Recommendations

So I've picked up a 7" (1024x600) screen for an up-coming build, to use for hardware monitoring.
Screen connects via HDMI and is powered via USB.

I'm looking for recommendations on what software I should run. It will be connected directly to the PC rather than using a raspberry pi. I would prefer if my mouse is unable to scroll across onto the screen too, keeping it separate from my main display.

Any ideas / inspiration welcome. I've not quite decided how it will be used yet.

i use rainmeter for a custom desktop that displays all my hardware. it takes a while to setup for use in conjunction with hwinfo but i got it to work after 2 hours. i could even pass you my setup and all you would have to do is re-position all the different box for your monitor
