Hardware Problem

Recently, my PC started having issues with crashing apps. Then, a few days ago I had a BSOD with an unrecoverable hardware problem, no error code.
Since then, I have been unable to stay in win7 for long before it just freezes.
I suspected windows may have been corrupt in some way so I tried reinstalling, that fails too. Ubunto boot CD also freezes after a few mins.

I've tried 2 gfx cards, 2 sets of mem and 2 HDs, I just can't seem to find the problem. PSU Seems to be fine.

I was o/c my 1.8GHz core 2 duo to 3GHz but am now back at stock.
I suspect it's the mobo (P5N-E Sli) as it's always hated me.

Cor! I've actually managed to type this up on the damn thing!

Ideas appreciated....

Well, I went away for a few days, but am back again to take another look at it! Caps look OK, voltages are stable when looking at them with a scope.
I have a feeling it's the memory slots I was using, but I can't see why it was fine for so long. I might move this over to the old mobo thread....
