Hardware related bsods?

Ok so I have rung tech support of OCUK a few times and they have suggested updating bios(done), running a mem test(done), all of which worked fine and no issues. However in the windows 7 environment I am getting all random bsods, and it's confusing as hell.
So far the list of BSODS I have got are as follows:

  • Bad_pool_header
  • memory_management
  • system_service_exception
  • IRQL_Not_LESS_OR_EQUAL

they each occur at different times.

So far I found out that the bad_pool_header and memory_management stopped after I made some tweaks in the bios, however I still have receieved system_service_exception dominantly over the other crashed.
This is rather confusing. I have only received the IRQL error once.

At first I thought it was my graphics card and drivers, so naturally I uninstalled the gpu and it's associated drivers (ati 5850 also am aware there is a new driver out today which I want to try out).

However while in normal windows mode it still crashed giving me the IRQL error.
I am typing this up in safe mode and so far no issues have occured.

Another issue I am facing is when booting up into safe mode it stops at the /driver/classpnp.sys

which makes me believe that this could all be related to drivers?
Anywho, my specs are as follows:

AMD Phenom II 955 @ stock 3.2 + non stock heatsink
4GB Corsair DDR3 RAM 9-9-9-24
600 watt PSU OCZX
GIGABYTE GA-MA790GPT-UD3H

any help would be much appreciated.
if you want the .dmp files I can zip them all and upload them.

Hve you checked that the memory is running at the correct voltages?

lol, i'm such an idiot. you were absolutely right ^^ seems for some reason it had underclocked itself. You sir have proven how easy it is to overlook such matters. my utter respect and hat goes off to you =)

Hijacking this thread slightly - how do you determine what voltage your RAM should be set to?

I am having serous BSOD issues too, memtest is clear. Not sure what is up.

i5 750 @ 4Ghz
Gigabyte P55-UD5
Corsair XMS3 2x2Gb RAM

your bios should say what settings your ram voltage is set to run at, if it's auto change it to the recommended voltage for your RAM type.

Ok will have a look. Running every diagnostic tool I can find but nothing showing wrong so far.

Have tried using only one stick of RAM at a time, then running memtest on it, then trying other sticks. Trying furmark for the gfx card which seems stable with my stock BIOS profile.

On applying a 4Ghz OC profile the thing just falls over. Not a clue what is wrong.
