can I please ask for some advice around a new pc build spec which is geared towards gaming /VR ? Have a few questions?

My question is I have around 700 -800 pound in mind for a PC. What is the best config to go for? Is this achievable for a good VR experience realistically ? I want to maximise the experience and not have to tone down graphics textures to make it as good as possible ?

X2 graphics cards ? Is it better to have X2 graphics card running SLI say spending 180- 200 pound a card, or get one “meatier” card for 350 - 400?

I’m asking as I have read there are considerations for ensuring FPS runs at over 90fps to maintain VR. My last dip into PC gaming 90 FPS was something of a pipe dream! How things have changed.

I’m looking at a hive system.

Thanks for any ones time

Single more powerful card is always surer for stable performance than two weaker ones.
Getting performance out from two cards needs optimizations in driver or then more work from game developer.
