I'm *still* trying to spec a decent gaming computer (money is becoming more and more of an issue...the pains of having a girlfriend!) I have come up with the spec below. I am happy with everything in this list apart from the motherboard, I'm not quite sure if this is a good board...so I'm asking if anyone could give me some advice? Thanks in advance

The only 2 things I would say is to swap the e6750 for the E6550 and get the Asus P5N-E SLI if its a 650i board you want.

Other than that , good specs.

Is the Asus board any better than the MSI board or were you suggesting it based on price? Only I've had nothing but bad experiences with Asus boards and my confidence in them has been badly knocked. I'm not (at the moment) looking for overclocking options - but I hear the MSI board does come with some decent overlocking options. Bottom line - is there a significant performance difference between the two?

A lot of people are recommending P35 chipset boards.

I have just bought the Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi Intel P35 but can't comment as I will be building at the weekend.

Hmm, well I've finally settled for a ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP AiLifestyle Series P35 Socket 775 Motherboard - its a bit more expensive than the other boards I looked at but it seems to have a lot of good reviews...now I just hope that Asus don't let me down (again)
