The first is really off putting because its obvious you have painted out completely the colour from the right clouds but then you have a saturation boost in the central clouds (where the peaks are) and I can't pull myself from looking at that. I think you should address this and it'll be a wonderful piece of work.

That's Barra with the beach runway - spent two days there waiting for shots of that this summer and no luck, cloud too low...

I love the fact that I get to take this place for granted, infact I think I do take it for granted quite a lot of the time

Photos are excellent, I wish I could capture the place the same way as you did in these.
