I'm trying to find a value on a particular book set I have to sell, but no idea of the value, I tried some of those online things but it came up with stupid offers like 6 pence and so on. I cannot find a new one that has sold. So what I know is that it is a 7 book paperback set, brand new and sealed.

I dont know really anything about Harry potter (never watched/read), this is somebody else's item they have asked me to help them shift it.

£25 - 40 quid if you are lucky I would say.

There must be millions of harry potter books out there and probably tens of thousands of these. No real value in them

With them being originals maybe slightly more than the above link for the new versions but you'll need first editions to make any kind of real money.

Oddly I was looking at a very similar set (maybe even the same?) at Costco the other day. Think it was £15 or something.

Let us know how much you get for it :)

Looking on ebay there are different versions of this collection. Some like this are being sold for £100+. But checking the sold listings shows £25 to £40'ish.

For this exact set i can only find £100 upwards, if you find a cheaper listing, please show it to me

It's a harry potter box set that isn't a numbered limited edition.
If you get more than £15, I'd be surprised.

[edit]
Just noticed, they're paperback as well. Makes them even closer to worthless. Stick them on the bay, starting bid of £10 and see where it goes.

If you had a ton of time on your hands, there's always the option of splitting them up. Sometimes, people are just after the odd one they haven't got. Unfortunately, like someone said above these are mass produced so I'd agree with £15/20 for the lot.
