Hi Folks,

I've just watched extended editions of the first two Harry Potter films - there must be 5-10 minutes extra per film, with some really useful extra information in there for anyone who hasn't read the books.

Understandably, I've then had a peek online to see if they exist for the other films. It appears however, that no one ever produced extended versions of the other 6 films - some do have deleted scenes on 'ultimate edition' discs which appears to be primarily a US release thing.

Is the above correct, or are there extended versions out there for the other films which I simply haven't found yet.... I'm not on about 'discs with deleted scenes' where post production wasn't finished etc.

No extended versions officially available. Some fan edits though.
Also, don't bother tracking down the ultimate editions. Did it for the other halfs birthday a few years back, really not worth it.

If you must... look for the Hogwarts Collection or the Wizards Collection. Both 31 discs, but the Wizards collection is in a really funky box. Sister has one and its surprisingly cool, but really expensive.

I have watched every movie today on free form and they all have extended scenes in them. I have the movies without extended scenes too. So I have seen both so Im not sure why they are saying they dont exist.

If they've got extended versions, then they're fanedited bootleg versions. Only the first two were released officially in extended versions.
