It's heeeeeeeeeere, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa beauty!

Finally, the game i've been waiting for on the DS. Unfortunately don't have my DS atm, so will need to wait until tonight when i post my mini-review :)

You felt cheated by Animal Crossing? Heathen! AC is a timeless Nintendo classic.

-AnthraX-:
November 24th. I imported it for £16.99, dispatched last Thursday. Arrived today, no charges as it's under the threshold. (www.movietyme.com)

Ol!ver:
It's not real-time no. But it's very very different from AC. In harvest moon you run a farm, you build the farm, you buy the animals, you buy the crops and then you have to look after it all. Which takes up most of each in game day and somehow you have to find time to adventure and find a girl to marry. But it's good :)

It only got 6/10 on IGN.com but the only reason i can see is that it's too similar to the GBA game and apparently they didn't make much use of the touchscreen capabilities but that's fine by me :)

Remember, it's not a game. It's a life simulator ;) Nah i do agree, AC has some good qualities but having a plot isn't one of them. It's why everytime it comes out i play it solidly for a few months then get bored.

There is more of a drive in HM. You have bills to make, things to buy, plants to tend, crops to cut, animals to milk/feed/groom,a wife to woo, sprites to find etc.For £16.99 you can't really go wrong :)

Sounds a bit like a rustic The Sims :D

Mmm i'd say it's better than the sims and quite different but i guess there's a comparison :p More fun running a farm than building a house and trying to get the woman knocked up in the sims though.

Well only been playing briefly but it seems good so far. Graphics aren't fantastic but the game area is very big and it's quite complex. Busy working trying to get my first crops up and growing and expanding my farm :) Enjoying it so far though. Looks like it could be a bit of a time hole :)
