I have tried to find one on the MS site, but no joy. This issue was one of the main reason's why I binned my copy of Vista until SP1 (which hopefully addresses this issue).
For the un-initiated, Vista can be very slow at copying files between drives or on the network. And when I say slow, I mean really S-L-O-W.
There are several bodges that try and address this problem. One is to disable the thumbnails. The other is to disable "differential compression".
Whilst disabling thumbnails works (mostly), sometimes I want to use thumbnail view.
Anyone else found a solution.
(BTW, google for this problem and you will find it's not just me - and it has nothing to do with drivers. It's the OS)
