has any one had joy with a back dated grid

GRID is ok - I love the replays the career mode itself is a bit random and the handling twitchy and full of little glitches (i.e. you can spin the car quite easily when your not even puching it close to the edge) but all in all its not bad...

Assasins Creed tho... ugh - its playable if you like playing console style and grab a controller - but playing it PC style is more hardwork than enjoyable - they seriously needed to streamline the controls for PC. I gave up after 5 minutes which is a shame as its visually very nice and seemed to have an ok storyline.

I end up swearing out loud and hitting restart half a dozen times - mostly because of the AI cars sitting in the fast line doing about half the speed its possible to do on that line.

Meh i never got a copy (annoying as i was looking forward to the game), eventually i caved and got it else where for about half the rrp anyway. Better than assassins creed (eax sound fails on it abit) but its not the best driving game out there (mainly as it take 20 restarts to get past the first 3 corners without being punted off the track)

Well worth seeing how good a 4870 is though :D (and the F3 cars are a good laugh_

If youre in stoke why dont you just take your invoice to the shop and get your copy personally?

Because I was told it is in the post...twice

it may well still be in the post what do you want me to do, waste my time queing in the shop to be told it is in the post:confused:

Bleedin'ell, just buy it yourself or go to the shop in person and sort it? Trust me things get sorted hell of a lot quicker in person or over the blower.

Why should he have to be buy it himself? OcUK offered a free copy of GRID but failed to send it to him, Yewen promised to send it to him on two separate occasions. If OcUK aren't going to send it perhaps you can buy him a copy? oh but that wouldn't happen would it? because the money would be coming out of your pocket..

Im wondering how many copies you have now and where youre going to sell them all? :p

i thought this too after reading through this thread. LOL

my experience with ocuk has been very good. even helping me whith a an item i brought from a competitor.

if only they price matched as i've found a 4870 for £155 + delivery. Which i'm going to order at end of month but would prefer to buy from ocuk but a saving of £30 is quite a saving
