Has anyone applied to Google before?

I've heard they get you to actually do some coding whilst on an interview - which sounds a tad harsh!

Don't know about google, but that's a fairly standard ask if applying for quant jobs at IBs.

Well I guess it differs, I've never seen it done before. In a way IMHO it probably tests a persons ability to work under pressure than their ability to code.

I applied for three jobs late last year, and had to do a coding test at two of them. A friend of mine has also just had to do a 2 hour one for as position he was applying for.
