I've been sailing with friends for a couple of years now, and comfortably have the hours/experience to skip competent crew and go straight to day skipper.
Unfortunately, my job doesn't really allow me to go to courses in the evening (it's pretty unpredictable but I'll work past 10 2-3 times a week), and I'd rather not take time off to do it in a classroom. Has anybody done the theory course online, and if so how is it? Is it significantly worse/more difficult than doing a taught course? Thanks!
