I've been holding fire on a new monitor for ages now waiting for freesync and the Acer 144hz jobby is the one i have my eye on. Thing is though that my current monitor, which I've had for about 6 years, is IPS whereas the Acer is TN.

I'm really keen to try these new (to me at least) technologies like high refresh rates and adaptive sync but i'm worried about going from IPS to TN. I'm not a hardcore gamer and at the moment on really play ARMA 3 online and Total War games offline.

Anyway, to get back to my original question has anyone tried sending a monitor back after changing your mind? Which courier did you use and did you manage to get it fully insured?

Thanks.

No courier will cover the general public for damages to monitors that I know of, some will insure on a loss only basis though such as Parcelforce but you need to book direct rather than through a broker like parcel2go or parcelmonkey.

I used the rainforest when I returned a UHD Asus they just told me to print this prepaid label off and stick it on and someone collected it, I wasn't charged and got the exact same amount I spent on it back :)
