Hi,

I am just curious as to whether anyone else (apart from me!) has purchased an Intel DP67DE (Micro ATX) Sandy Bridge motherboard?

I shan't have the remainder of the components for another week or two, so it will be some time before the build commences.

The CPU will be a 2500K, and the memory 2 x 2GB sticks of G.Skill RipJawX, (or Corsair XMS3) and the graphics will be provided by an EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked EE card.

Oh yes... and it's all going into a Silverstone SG04-F case! :)

I looked at the DP67BG, not to purchase but to see how the Intel compared to others. The reviews hint its manufactured by Asus for Intel so as a guess the DE is also an Asus board but without the fancy bios of an Asus board.
Will be interested to hear how you get on with the build.

I always thought that Foxconn made motherboards for Intel, although that was quite a few years ago now, so perhaps they are using Asus now instead.

I am looking forward to putting it all together! :)

An interesting read... thanks.

Would you believe there is still a live thread running on another Forum about the Intel D875PBZLK which must be quite a few years old now!

They do actually have one model in stock at the moment, namely the Intel BLKDP67DE P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard.

I would have got it from them, but I managed to find it cheaper somewhere else in the end!

Thanks Montala.
I missed that board when I checked and just posted to see if they will stock them but I would like to see the BG version which I may go for in the end if I go SB.
Fingers crossed :)
