I've not had a signal on my sky box since last night just wondering if anyone else in the Telford area has lost theirs too or is it down to my dish?

I heard terrorist blew the satellite out the sky and replaced it with one that just shows aljazeera!

Most likely reason is rain degrading the signal. If you want to avoid this get a bigger satellite dish.
The minidish is fine in almost all weather conditions throughout the majority of England. The weather needs to be really severe to cause break up.

This is assuming good quality components and installation practices have been undertaken though.

exactly, if the alignment is right and the cable in good condition the rain shouldn't bother it

we used to have a mini dish and it broke up in bad weather, they replaced it with a slighlty bigger mini dish when we got sky plus and its okay unless it snows. Have to stuck a brush out of the window to pust the snow of it :p

mate of mine called last night to ask if ours was ok (it was) his was as dead as a dodo (no signal), we are only about a mile away form each other in Nottingham.

LOAM

watch out for trees

one thing to watch out for are trees in the area of your dish, they can loose your signal or you may get a weak signal, picture break up and stuff. hope this helps someone.
