That we get hardly any multiplayer demo's for new pc games anymore.
Usually there would be single player demo swiftly followed by a multi version
no idea why but just doesn't seem to happen anymore.
For a start where's the c&c 3 multi demo.

Well i would just play the demo mp with a mate that way we can play each other without buying the game then plus usually were sick of games quickly these days so saves us money from buying them in the end.

Publishers probably caught on to our thinking and said "hmm, lets just pull mp demos as there just playing them instead of buying the full games so lets not do them anymore".

True i guess but still they could make them very limited 1 map and exclude some units etc modes.Bf2 multi didn't stop anyone buying the full game maybe it depends on the game content.

What's wrong with bf2, one of best games for mp ever I think. I got the full after just playing sp in the demo.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's not my type of game though. The vehicles put me off as I prefer to sneak about a bit, Ghost Recon style.
I would probably of bought it & sold it if I hadn't been lucky enough to play the demo first:)

Lol, you're exactly the opposite of me, i like team games and hate walking alone, and i love vehicles such as tanks, planes, choppers, hence I'm put off my games such as ghost recon, doom 3, fear, etc...
My style is: CoD, cod2, battlefield series, mohaa (mp), CS:S, UT, etc...

You can still sneak around with teams in Ghost recon.

I personally HATE xboxes. (didnt stop me buying one for £15 though :()

However there is nothing more fun than playing Ghost recon with 7 other mates all in this tiny room.

:D

I don't see any point in releasing both a Single Player demo and a Multiplayer demo as they're both going to essentially be the same game.

If you want to play the game online with people, buy the full game - don't try and skimp as much free play out of it as possible.
