I see today overclockers have got the new Asus P5WD2-E Premium Intel 975X motherboard, im not a huge fan of my nvidia p5nd2 sli board, so im thinking of ordering this tomorrow, as it looks the dogs danglies.

One of the main reasons for doing this would be that its crossfire compatible, but obviously this is not talked about too much, has anyone gone crossfire with their 955x board (also supported).

If i do want to go crossfire, would i need to buy a x1800 crossfire board just now, or will they still be being made, i know the regular x1800's arent, but will the crossfires still be available?

Lastly, would my 480w hyper be man enough to effectively power 2 of these puppies?

Lastly, is crossfire buggy, ive heard that sli setups can be a bit buggy, is crossfire the same or is it peachy?

Ill answer what i can.

I own an AMD rig, so cant comment on Intel, but will say that the ULI baserd crossfire boards run sweetly without any bugs as far as i know.

The X1800XT boards (crossfire & standard) have ceased production so if you want to go crossfire with the X1800XT series you will need to get both cards now (or very soon). However the X1900 series are available & will be for some time i dare say, for people to use in their crossfire setups.
