Netflix rolled out HDR 10 & Dolby Vision in mid March for Marco Polo & Daredevil s2 but its not working on my Samsung TV

I emailed Samsung & they said my TV is HDR compatible so it must be the Netflix app... The Netflix help website advises Samsung TV's are supported with HDR but I cant get it work on my JS8000.
Amazon HDR has worked for months but their HDR content is limited.

Only 8,9 series Samsung TV's have HDR as the SUHD have quantum dot / 10 bit colour. This includes those from March 2015... Not to be confused with HDMI 2.0a.

I'm wishing I got a Vizio now as they're working with Netflix HDR

The app should show a HDR logo by those titles, I've already set the 4 screen UHD option.

June/July... Nooo. Not even with a 9 series. Ouch
Kinda takes the mickey when Visio and Panasonic have got it. Come on Netflix update your Tizen app.

Thanks guys

On a side note, if anyone is unaware of HDR. From my experience I can't see the difference between 4k and 1080p 10ft away from a 55" but can deffo see the improvement with HDR.

Thats cool a ju6800 having quantum dot or nano chrystal as Samsung call it. I'd guess if it can do 10bit then it can do HDR... Find the Life of Pi HDR demo to test

I thought native was for an input like a player and custom (after setting correctly from a review) was for when using the TV player from LAN or an app.
