Has anyone got the TP Link AC2800 modem/router?

I've been looking at this router and wondered if anyone had any first hand experience of it?

In addition to its general quality and performance I really just want to know whether it can be wall mounted and also whether it has any sort of access control built in?

I've had a Netgear router in the past and really liked the fact that you could set it so all new connections via the WiFi were blocked by default until you authorised the device!

I don't have this exact model but looks similar

But anyway, if the UI is the same it is a doddle to setup, has parental and guest controls and has not caused me a single problem. Mine has wall mounts on the base so I expect this one does as well.

Thanks for the reply - mind if I ask what model you have because I'm really struggling to find much of a difference between the AC2800 and the AC2600 other than a slightly faster (theoretical) speed on the 5GHz band!??!?! (and the AC2600 is almost £80 cheaper!)

They both look the same (4 antennae rather than 3 on the previous models) - is this the one you have??

AC1900. I use a network adaptor on my PC which is also 1900 so did not see the point in going higher.

In the end I've decided to stick with my existing router and simply replace the WiFi with a BT Whole Home setup - picked it up this afternoon and so far *crosses fingers* it seems to have solved my issue!
