has anyone here toured Peru?

we are looking at going June/July next year.

I'm thinking that the 3 must see things for me are machu picchu, the nascar lines and the Amazon.

has anyone been to Peru and seen any of these? also what timescale did you do it in? we should have just under 3 weeks to fit it in.

Was thinking about going and doing exactly that for my honeymoon.

3 weeks sounds plenty of time as we were planning to do it in 16 days.

If you ever go swimming over there make sure you wear a condom :eek:

There are little fish that will swim up you little man and hook them selfs in with little spurs :eek:

Should still be plenty of time.

On Tuesday I'm off to go treking in the Belize rainforest, climbing Guatemalan volcanos and diving off Honduras.

If I can fit all that in in three weeks you can fit all your in.

I am going to peru in July this year, for 4 weeks. I will post our itenerary later. Basically, we have planned ahead and we hope to fly over the Nazca lines, do a 5 day trek in the Colca canyon, deepest canyon in the world IIRC, We are spending 5 days doing a community project with kids who live on man made reed islands on Lake Titicaca, we are spending 3 days in the amazon and doing a boat trip, including Piranha fishing! Also, we are going to Machu Picchu. From the research we have done, it looks a stunning country. Were also doing white water rafting as well.
