Has anyone played Command and Conquer cross platform with a PC and a Mac?

I'd like to get either of the C&C Games available for Mac, Red Alert 3 or Tiberium Wars (preferably Tiberium Wars)

They're both available from the Origin store

I want to get a copy for a family member so they can play on their macbook, while I play on my PC, anyone had any luck with this?

According to one review on Amazon from November 2007, this works.

However this review from January 2009 says it's not possible

Can anyone clarify whether it works or not at the moment?

Whoops, I've just realised the second review was for Generals, not Tiberium wars

So hopefully it does still work, if anyone can still verify it, that would be cool.

Don't see why it shouldn't, is Mac officially supported if so then there should be no problems.
