Has anyone played with Forefront TMG yet?

Just got round to trying Forefront TMG (the next incarnation of ISA server, for those who don't know), and I'm having some odd issues with it. It appears to install ok, but then, once installed it attempts to start the services, which it complains about and says it couldn't. The attempted remedy is to restart the machine, which also fails to start the services.

Trying to start the services manually, you see that it is down to a dependency failure that the service cannot start, so into event viewer I go, only to find no useful information at all.

Has anyone actually got this up and running?

Still no joy, the TMG Server Control Service fails to start, and no amount of digging round for the event ID helps to uncover a solution. I'm starting to think that it is an incompatibility with Server 2008 R2 (beta) and Forefront TMG (beta).

Going to try with a vanilla Server 2008 install (non-R2).

Yeah, its nice to finally be somewhere that I have the ability to spend. Having come from Wedgwood... hmmm.

Installed and configured on Server 2008 Standard x64. Seems that it just doesn't like R2.
