Has anyone seen a 1080ti review that shows how it scales with different CPUs?

I've been keeping an eye out for this and haven't seen anything, but I wonder if anyone else has?

Basically, I'm trying to work out whether it is worth me going from a 980 to a 1080ti when running a 3770k @4.5 as i like to game at my monitor's native 1440p resolution and the standard 1080 isn't quite at 60fps on a few games now (so certainly won't be in the future) and its big ti brother seems to be more of what I am after, but my last niggle is whether the 3770k would hold it back too much.

Many thanks, in advance, for any pointers :)

60Hz monitor you'll be fine. More than that and you might have issues. I certainly struggled with my 2600K 4.5Ghz in BF1

Nope 3770k at 4.5 won't hold it back. upgrading the CPU to something else like 6700k or 7700k would just improve minimum framerates mostly with highs improving marginally. But not talking like a big increase just a small one. Fair enough makes for smoother game-play but running something like a gsync monitor helps with this anyways.
