Has anyone switched from a Openreach to Cityfibre FTTP provider?

I currently have Plusnet FTTP which uses the overhead Openreach network. My contract is up so looking to switch. I was thinking of Zen but they use the CityFibre network. I don't really want yet another hole drilling in the wall. Has anyone experience of how they do it? From what I understand CityFibre is underground. So they'd need to get that through the garden and then drill through again? Or can they make use of the existing fibre optic cable that Openreach put in?

No, they would have to put in new fibre. I would also do some research on Zen, they CS has gone downhill in recent times and they have their Manchester/London gateway switching issues (whether or not that also applies to CF I don't know).

You could ask Zen to provision you on Openreach if you want but you might have to phone them to do this
