Has anyone tried this reinforced tubing? I have a tight bend in my loop and tygon 1/2" and 7/6" both kink, so looking for something a little better :)

How about using some of that coils stuff by Swiftech. Coolsleeves, that's the stuff. I got some of the 5/8" OD for my 7/16" tubing. Have'nt got it set up yet though. :(

The other half keeps finding things for me to do around the house such as tiling the whole bathroom, fitting a shower and tiling the kitchen floor. Bossy bugger that she is.

Tell her to do it ;)

I think the problem you'll find if you use stiff tubing is the pressure it will exert on components, espcially if you're thinking of the section between CPU/GPU and / or GPU/Nbridge.

I've found silicone tubing great, but I reinforce the section between the GPU and Nbridge with a couple of hose clips to keep the tube open.

RIP if you do!!!

Tell me about it. I would be in the doghouse well and truly then.

Back to the subject of tubing. I have Masterkleer 7/16" ID tubing and that is quite flexible. That will do a fairly tight bend before starting to flatten out. As said by Jimbo Mahoney though, the tighter the bend the more pressure you are putting on the components. I think i may have the same problem when i fit the blocks to my graphics cards which is why i got the coolsleeves. They are only a couple of quid or so for 3 or 4 foot lengths, can't remember which right now.

ive got the steel reinforced PVC tubing but only 3/8".
Its alright but i would change back to tygon if i could be bother to take it all apart and have the extra cash.

It can do tight bends but is very stiff so it will pull on anything you have close.

I swear by Tygon R1000 - similar in performance/feel to Silicone, allowing for a radius approximating R3603 but due to it's 'softness' doesn't apply as much torque to the attached components when having to curve sharply.
When it does kink, it doesn't do so quite as 'hard'/terminally as the R3606 either.

have one from gtx block > chipset block, dfi expert.
1/2 tubing kinked ,tried cable ties, several in fact, decided to try reinfored tube in the end and it works ok.

Thanks for all the input guys, its appreciated, as the steel stuff is so cheap I'll buy a few foot and give it a try :) I'll also get in some cool sleeves and see if they're any good.

I'm using cable ties at the moment and it looks a bit messy, so hopefully I'll find a more elegant solution :)
