I'm using a (fairly old) set of Creative Labs T7900 speakers which are great, but the wireless volume control unit is on its last legs. The rotary volume control will do its own thing most of the time if you try and adjust the volume and I think this is starting to affect the sound quality as the speakers seem to die a little when there's a lot of bassy sound going on in movies.
I think it might be as simple as the contacts inside the rotary dial but when I took the unit apart a few weeks ago it was a 'sealed' component which didn't look user serviceable. I'll have another look in a bit and post a picture.
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue maybe? Or if anyone knows of where I could buy a replacement that would be useful too.
