I have a 10'x8' apex shed, with a tongue and groove board roof that I really need to get sorted as I temp fixed it using breathabale roofing membrane, but I noticed some leaks after the storm we had recently and I have some expensive tools in there I'd hate to get ruined. Just wondering if anyone has roofed their shed with EPDM and if they have any input, tips and a good place to buy it.
Also wondering if i'll have to buy some ply/OSB to fix over the T&G roof, or would it be ok to adhere the rubber to the T&G? I'm thinking the movement in the timber might affect the rubber, or will it just expand and contract with the timber?
If I use water based adhesive, will i need a small pot of contact adhesive as well for edges?
From a quick look around on ebay it looks like I could get a sheet of 3.5m x 3m 1.2mm EPDM and a tub of water based adhesive for around £100, which seems pretty good if it will last 20 years.
Thanks
