Has anyone used one.com?

They seem super cheap for a paid service, some good reviews on their site, has anyone had first hand experience of them?

They are cheap because they don't use cPanel. I was about to sign up for their service but I had to transfer my domain to them so it was a no go for me.

I think someone on this forum transferred their domain away from one.com and was still being charged with debt collectors hassling him.

What do they use as a control panel interface?

I've got space with dreamhost who use their own and it's brilliant.

Just spoke to One and you have to fax or post off a signed agreement, so they don't setup instantly which is a shame.

I have two domains with Fasthost but ~£50 a year each is a bit steep - the second site hardly uses and bandwidth or anything tbh.

TSOhost or Vidahost have basic packages for ~£15-20 per year.
