Hi,
I'm planning a custom loop for my Corsair 540 build.
I'm not entirely sure where to put the pump and res (got an EK DDC pump top & res combo).
Due to not having a modular PSU it means it's likely that there's not going to be too much space in the PSU compartment for something the size of the pump.
So I'm thinking of using either the:
Pulse Modding Laing DDC (MCP350/355) Mounting Bracket (can't find a non-competitor link)
or the
Alphacool Eheim Station pump mount
with
these or these to help with vibrations.
Has anyone used either of them? If so are they any good? Do they vibrate much/loudly?
Which option is best?
Also, if I attach them to the rear fan in the 540, does it mean with the pump/top/res combo being about 121mm tall that it would interfere with a top mounted rad if I tried to add one?
Thanks.
