Has apple fixed the iphone 12 & ipad air 4th gen games stuttering & dropped frames issues yet ?

Does anyone know if apple has fixed the gaming problems with there iphone 12 series & ipad air 4th gen (A14 chip) yet ?

For example Lag And Fps Drop in Iphone 12 pro … | Apple Developer Forums


As i ordered a ipad air 4th gen for a family member but am now thinking of cancelling it due to this as some people are thinking it could even be a hardware issue with the A14

I don’t have a 12 pro, but on my standard 12 I haven’t had this issue at all from day one

I should add I game a lot on PUBG mobile, Wild Rift, TFT. Probably 2+ hrs a day - I wasn’t even aware this was a thing and pre lockdown we didn’t see it once in the store.
