Has Crytek swapped to AMD?

Under The Stairs!
I have been wondering for some time now whether Crysis 3 was still tied with Nvidia due to AMD striking a deal with AMD's Gaming Evolved program.

Tried the big G for some info, but to no avail.

The new Never Settle Reloaded pack has C3 bundled with the 79's and then I came across this:

The new Tomb Raider title which we covered at AMD’s ExtravaLANza and BioShock Infinite’s association with Gaming Evolved have already been discussed but they’re supplemented by a somewhat shocking addition: Crysis 3.

Long a title which has been under the auspices of NVIDIA’s The Way It’s Meant To Be Played program, Crytek seems to have switched sides so to speak.

and

One of the most important aspects of these titles is their compatibility with AMD-specific technologies. Supposedly, every one of them will be released with native support for Crossfire and Eyefinity alongside optimizations for the GCN architecture while Tomb Raider will also have HD3D features added for stereoscopic viewing.

AMD GE have also released this:

Never found anything from Nvidia regarding C3.

There is also the possibility of both camps 'claiming' that it's a GE/TWIMTBP-a la BF3, which was widely regarded(wrongly) as a TWIMTBP title.

Has anyone seen any conformation anywhere?

@Matt,

:D

I was hoping it was going to have the new AMD DX11 tech(but it's too late for that, unless they work it in at a later date in a patch).

The new tech is in Tombraider btw if you didn't know already for those interested.;)

@ACEOWNER,

8xMSAA is the highest setting, TXAA good as it is, is lower IQ. :)

Question for you if you don't mind though is, using TXAA instead of MSAA, do you still get the distant 'grid effect'(best I could come up with to describe) if you know what I'm talking about, that you get with MSAA?

@Andy,

I hope your wrong, but I know it will probably be the usual case of-Your high end dual card setup can't handle it@1080p so you better invest in the next greatest gpu or two that appears.:(

Shame if the SP runs like mush-unless it merits gpu meltdown quality gfx, which going by the beta, it might, might just be.
