Unless i'm on some test version of Google homepage the search window is showing crap like trending searches and previous typed in searches even though i'm signed out of Google?

seems normal to me but over the years the search results seem to be more trending crap than actual 100% relevance.
youtubes search function sseems horrible recently as well and it only ever recommends me terrible crap I would never watch.

watch a few ancient history docus recently, suddenly getting bombarded with minecraft videos as recommended like wtf?

"do not show me videos from this channel" doesn't seem permanent and isn't exactly helpful when the same person has like 10+ different active channels I don't watch to watch either.

googles going downhill imo, I should probably start finding a better search engine thats less trendy and down with the kids

After i posted i found a large thread on Goggle support from people complaining that i wish i had posted before i went out as now i can't find it , but it seems to have been happening randomly for people as the above thread shows what it looked like if you imagine that including trending results in a large long drop down.

It's stopped for me now and everything is back to normal , not sure why i can't find the thread at google support unless i'm looking in the wrong section but at least it has stopped.

I often get confused at work by bizarre Google pages... Then I realise my browser is still configured to present a TV User Agent string and I'm being served the mobile page :o

(Basically my browser tells the Google server it's a telly)

Google must be experimenting again as i'm randomly getting related searches box appearing below the first search result which is annoying as there is a delay that moves the results down the page so you end up clicking the wrong link.

I think there is some interaction with use of ublockO/similar too; in principal browser I block google-analytics and suppress auto-completion which modifies behaviour versus other browsers , and also seem to periodically give Robot reCAPTCHA prompts.
