Has my GPU packed it in?

Funny, just as I was thinking and discussing a GPU Upgrade mine seems to messed up.

I was playing my usual games when I got a BSOD, on restart the pc would boot but there were 'artifacts' all over my screen, I booted without the RAM etc etc and I've boiled it down to my GPU.

With the latest drivers installed for my HD 7950, my PC boots up fine but the screen messes up and there's colours everywhere...do you recommend I try the 2nd-most-recent drivers?

clear the boards cmos,leave battery out 5 to 10 minutes then try

Tried a different cable/connection on the GPU?
Loads of different colours, or just one?

The colours would be loads of different ones, e.g. blue yellows and lots of orange.


I also got a "Memory_management" BSOD in amongst all this

I've tried the card in a different machine and it worked fine until the drivers were installed. Similar thing happened (works fine until logging into Windows) there's artifacts all over the screen
