Hello.

I wondered if I could pick everyone brains.

Here is my spec;
Case: BitFenix
Power Supply:Cool Master GX550 Lite
OS: Windows 7
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z77-3DH
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz
Memory: Vengeance 8GB
Hard Drive: 1TB Seagate
Video Card: GIGABYTE AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC
Headphones: Logitech G430
Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z
Mouse: Logitech MX518
Mousepad: Logitech G440
Keyboard: Dell SK-8135

I believe my Graphics Card has died, it is a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 OC. However I believe the culprit could also be TeamSpeak 3, I will break down what happened with the pictures I took.

I play several games, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive etc

At this time I was playing World of Warcraft full screen and had been play roughly 2 hours, a friend on Steam (A software which is like a hub to play and download games with a messenger inside) messaged me to play CSGO with him, I alt+tab out to read his message and said I will be there.

I also loaded up teamspeak 3, connected to his server, loaded up CSGO and after about 1min, my graphics went haywire

The computer didn't respond, alt+ctrl+del didn't work, alt+tab didn't work, the only thing that worked was holding down the power button.
When the computer restarted the Windows screen showed and then nothing, nothing would load. I couldn't get to login screen so I figured my computer was busted but didn't know if it was hardware or software issue, so I loaded up my PC in safe mode and backed up my files and reformatted my computer.

After installing all drivers,CSGO & Teamspeak 3 I relogged the CSGO server and again after 4 mins it happen again, but this time the PC rebooted itself and I was welcomed with this image

When I tried to log in I was then welcomed by the blue screen of death.

I then figured this must be a Graphics Card break down, but in the back on my mind this only happened when having TeamSpeak 3 running.
So I reformatted a 2nd time not after cleaning my computer out for any dust, installed all drivers, latest graphics drivers and games, BUT I did not reinstall TeamSpeak 3.
Now I played a full 10min of CSGO and no crashing or problems and I logged World of Warcraft for 10mins and no problems. But today I will play and test to see if my PC crashes over a longer period of time.

But I am still left with the question what caused this? Software/Hardware with my Graphics Card or Software with Teamspeak 3?

I eagerly look forward to any replies!
Many Thanks
Daz.

No my CPU is not overclocked. I did buy a big fan on it to do this but never got round to it.

I currently do not have a spare GPU. I have just played 30min of Heroes of the Storm and 1hr of CSGO without using Teamspeak and no crash or problems.

Messaging from iPhone.

I am running a memtest86 now, been over an hour and still testing so far 2/4 pass.

If it's a bad ram anyway to identify which one? I have 2x 4GB.

I also have my wife's not told old Nvidia GPU if it is indeed my AMD dying.

However I don't know how to up the volts for the ran, it's weird too if it's been fine for 2-3 years and only started yesterday.

I also noticed something I have installed are 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black Low Profile, PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.5V.

On the screen shot I gave my MHz are 800MHz, shouldn't it be 1600MHz? Or it is taking into account that they are 800MHz sperately and 1600MHz combined?

Can't remember if that shows actual or like CPU-Z you may need to double what is being viewed, but once finished double check in the BIOS.

So in bios ram speed should be 1600Mhz or am I doubling that to 3200MHz? Memtest still running, been running for 2hr 28min and 3/4 pass so far.

For the time being use onboard graphics.

Onboard graphics won't be powerful enough to play the games though.
I also check my bios and my ram frequency was only 1300, not 1600. So I corrected that.

Will replace gpu as only logical choice I have and see how PC behaves.
