ive got a duo with an asus p5b mobo. i switched it on the another day and all i got was no signal input. i used a different monitor and cable and still the same problem. I then bought a new gfx card and im still getting no output to the monitor. this is an overclocked system. does it sound as if the mobo has gone? the strange thing is its boots up, all lights are running but it just wont output a picture.

Try running it out of the case and on top of your motherboard box. Your case might be short circuiting the motherboard. If it works then you know that somewhere in the case you either haven't applied enough mounting screws or have your heatsink on too tight (Usually if you have a after market heatsink and it has a custom backplate).

the system has been working for 2 years up to now tho. i guess i could try tho

Switch it on and see if you get the Windows sound out of your speakers.

If you can hear it boot into Windows, but nothing appears on screen, then it's your graphics card or monitor.
