I think microsoft were due to do a defrag of the internet this morning. It must have been because of that.

Weird. I had internet problems on Virgin in Edinburgh. Also had net problems in work this morning with BT.

I can confirm that the whole internet was down for a few seconds last night, tripped over the cable and pulled the plug. On the whole, most didn't notice.
