Has the recent post count started to kill MM?

a 1000 posts, ooffftt will be a while for me to hit that (did it not used to be 500?)

One thing I only just realised is that in the Wanted forum you are only allowed to make 2 threads which I apparently have already done but it must have been years ago. Is there any chance of rethinking that requirement? I know that you don't want people spamming it but 2 seems a bit low.

Feel free to ignore me :D.

You just have to close the old ones, you've started more than 2 threads but can only have 2 open at the same time.

It's literally covered in the rules how to find your open threads...!

I fully understand why it's done; to ensure the forums stay active, with contributors, but personally, i do a fair amount of reading, but not a lot of posting, mainly because the threads I read are already multiple pages long & there isn't really anything I can add. Much like Ibam in person, if in a group, I listen to what everypne's saying, but I often don't say a massive amount as there's nothing extra for me to
contribute & it seems silly to repeat what someone else has just said, or add an "I agree" meaninglessly.

You never have an opinion of you own?

Posting just for MM access gets old real quick, I can't imagine what kind of psychopath can manage to achieve such a feat

It's going to be such a disappointment when I finally get access, hopefully in time for the 6090...

I do, but normally by the time I've read a thread, my opinion, amongst others have discussed to the point I don't feel there's anything left to add & just fels a bit pointless at that point.
That doesn't make sense, conversations constantly move and new things come up, do you do all your reading at 3am or something?

I also agree.

Edit: Jokes aside, I lurk a lot have for many years now, sometimes don't feel like I have a lot to contribute. I think my apathy has taken over so i'm not a good benchmark. I used to enjoy a good debate / discussion on the internet, but now I don't feel like I care about much.

Yeah same. I used to post a lot on forums when I was younger but much more of a lurker these days. Of course if everyone was like that then the forum wouldn't exist (like most other internet forums which are long gone). I think I've used the MM about 5 times in over 20 years (has it been that long?!) so I can't complain that much. Was always good to have a look and see what people were selling though.
