Hi

PC is ONLY used for media.

I built it over 6 months ago and it has worked faultlessly. All it has on it is Windows, Power dvd and Huappege TV . (+one or two utilities)

The ONLY things that will have been loaded onto it within the last 2-3 months will have been windows updates (Hence the question)

Last night, middle of watching "Game of Thrones" the picture stated to lock up, then got BSOD

(Watchdog_Violation)

And now, infinite reboot loop. It will start in safe mode, I have tried updating the graphics driver but to no avail.

The "Diagnose your PC" widows selection in "Advanced repair options" says it cant fix it (Has anybody ever had windows successfully do a fix from that option??)

When I looked to use a restore point I found there were not any listed (I always thought that windows update was supposed to automatically create restore points??? )

Any suggestions before I try to refresh/reset?

I had a bsod loop a few days ago, But think it was related to a driver from plugging in an old keyboard.

I couldn't even get into Safe mode as it would bsod also, So ended up just doing a fresh start but kept my files in tact. You can run a fresh install from the troubleshooting screen.
