and if not will it affect me using it with a media centre and a 360?

well 360 won't use hdmi. Ideally you should ensure it has a vga port and that it does 1:1 pixel mapping on this connection and at a decent resolution.

so by the spec listed on oc, can it do that.
sorry for being a noob but it is my 1st time i have looked into buying one

It looks like it only has a DVI port.
