I own an Acer Predator XB271HUbmiprz as my main screen, for the last little while I've had this weird issue occur, which I'm not sure is due to the screen, GPU, or cable, I assume it's the screen as I've never had it happen on my second monitor or any other monitor.

Occasionally a couple of pixels wide vertical slice, from the center of the screen is moved to the right-hand side of the screen, to fix I have to modify the windows settings, i.e refresh rate.

Is there a name for this kind of issue, has this happened to anyone else?

Had a similar issue on a Dell screen a few years ago. Was a known bug and I was not aware of any fix for it while I had it but I would guess only a firmware fix would sort it.

Thanks, I'll take a look round and see if I can find anything, otherwise I may contact the company I bought it from see if I can get a replacement,
never see it on another screen, bizarre.
