Some of you may know him as that dude who created the bands blink-182 and Angels and Airwaves, but recently his music has been put on the back burner and his mind is focussed on something completely different.

He's always been a fan of aliens and stuff like that, and for the past year or so he's been apparently meeting up with top US military officials to discuss aliens, UFOs, etc. I have no idea why they would disclose anything to a random rock star, but I thought I'd see where it goes. Fast forward to now and he's got a company that is raising money (currently at $1.7 million) to create something that will "prove the ability to warp Space-Time."

We are planning an Experiment using Dr Hal Puthoff’s (TTS) mathematics with a piece of hardware from some very “interesting” wreckage in the late 40’s. :) This experiment will be shown to the world and scientific community to prove the ability to warp Space-Time. This will help illuminate the To The Stars engineering Plan. And we now have over 1,200 Investors, thank you so much.

Nobel-Nominee Physicist Dr. Hal Puthoff, Co-Founder of To The Stars... has created the Science and complex Mathematics, with peer review, behind the To The Stars plan to build an exotic vehicle that uses Advanced Electromagnetic Propulsion to Bend the fabric of Space-Time. This energy source could desalinate the world’s oceans and provide clean water to the world, it could negate radioactive nuclear power, and it could change transportation through Land, Air and Space forever. INFO: He was nominated in Physics (with two colleagues Haisch & Rueda) for a fundamental vacuum physics model for inertia.

There's also this:

For the first time in history, US Military Declassified Videos on UFOs are coming (as promised). This is a pic of the WebSite being built as we speak. As announced at launch, we will be releasing videos of UFOs captured on the most advanced military systems in the world, along with Interviews and Scientific Studies on the Propulsion of UFOs all initiated by US Gov. This is the “COI” (Community of Interest) that we mentioned during our live event. It’s coming and I am shooting for it to be only a couple weeks away.

Sounds a bit like he's lost the plot.

I watched a little bit of Joe Rogans podcast with him on last week - Sounds like he's totally lost the plot :p

EDIT: Removed video - Unfortunately, it had a naughty word in it :( But search YouTube!

i currently have a mental picture of this guy leaving the meeting with the government officials and them bursting out in laughter the moment he's left the room.

i mean cmon, you would do it if you had the chance!

Here you go, the rapper BoB has got a gofundme to prove the earth is flat

When people post here saying that the earth is flat, they get mocked for having no evidence. Then this guy is getting mocked for trying to give that evidence.

Sure, any evidence he finds will prove himself wrong, but at least he's proactively trying to back up his belief by providing evidence - seems like a reasonable thing to be doing?

not particularly, just a massive waste of resources to provide evidence for or against something that he could already find evidence for or against if he wasn't so silly

the problem is the evidence isn't exactly hard to find, go to the coast pretty much anywhere and watch a ship sail over the horizon- proof the earth isn't flat

that's before we get to the multitude of additional evidence around even if you totally ignore space exploration and the subsequent photos of earth being round in it's entirety.

The whole wreckage from the 40s thing will raise some eyebrows but the rest isn't so crazy - theoretical models broke ground on that a few years back and over the last few years they got the energy requirements down from like galaxy level to that of something like Jupiter - still a long long way from anything feasible let alone working out the rest though.

Tends to happen to people who abuse drugs, pretty sure Tom did copious amounts of acid, only difference is most tend to keep their opinions to theirselves as to not appear a total fruit loop.

He did some live presentation with a load of ex top nobs from the industrial military complex last week. One of said "top nobs" was ex-CIA Chris Mellon who was a former deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

He went on to explain in detail how a UFO was tracked visually and on radar by the USS Nimmutz. On the morning of 14 November 2004, Dave and his WSO launched into the clear blue Southern California sky about a hundred miles southwest of San Diego.:-

Their Call Sign was FASTEAGLE 01. His wingman and WSO launched just after them in FASTEAGLE 02. They climbed overhead the ship and rendezvoused in normal fashion before setting off to their assigned work area in the open ocean south of USS Nimitz. Normal day, normal ops for the pre-deployment work up cycle they were in the middle of.

What Dave didn’t know was for the past several days, Princeton had been picking up some bizarre returns on their Death Star-worthy SPY-1 radar. On several occasions beginning 10 November, the Fire Control Officer and the extremely experienced Fire Control Senior Chief had detected multiple returns descending from far above the radar’s scan volume–somewhere higher than 80,000 ft. The targets, dubbed Anomalous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs), would drop from above 80K to hover roughly 50 feet off the water in a matter of seconds.

This is supposed to be a leak of said incident; prefect timing for it to arise.

Wouldn't desalinating the oceans be rather problematic for the many species that live there?

As I understand it the theory around bending/warping space time is theoretically do-able. Not sure how they'll implement it in reality or raise the funds to even try.

Well, yes, that's true, but there's already a great deal of evidence out there... but yes, I take your point. Mind you, when he proves himself wrong, I expect he'll dismiss his evidence as flawed in some way or other.

No idea who is tom, but i think someone is confused with reality and some diagrams used to prove that statement that is circled.

Regardless the following is interesting
