Had never been there before but was invited down for the weekend and it's way more interesting that Brighton, with quieter beaches and 100x more interesting things to take.

Head down there this summer if you can! :cool:

nice set but I think you've overdone the sharpening/highlight+shadow tool in many of them...theres a distinct halo around much of the objects up against the sky. last one and Felicity boat especially.

i like your style though. distinct. its good.

for me, (as a lay person) there is slightly too much post processing..

but i like the style

I strongly dislike your processing in all but the last and second from last shots, which unfortunately are the weakest composition wise imo

i quite like them. it's a unique style of post-processing you've got there...nice bold colours

personally, the third from last could do with straightening up a bit and i'd have focused on the seagul in the second one...seems like it's there accidentally otherwise.

i really like the first and third a lot though

I really like them, especially the first. I put a lot of saturation and contrast into my pictures as well

I also really like them, and the processing feels very similar to what I did with my last batch of beach photographs, although I can see why some people dislike it, as it is very strong.

thanks for the comments guys. I don't normally process images in this way but I wanted a different style from my approach. Personally i think it works and am pleased with them
