Anyone know much about it or what to do? I have a load of boxes here and a cheap 4770k retail i got with 332 batch number made in costa rica. How would i go about measuring this chip based on VID or quick boot up?

Would default volts and putting in x45 multi show me if its a capable clocker? Or does the vid matter more? I was thinking of just putting it in and attempting to boot to 4500 to be honest.

Stick it in, change vcore to 1.25v and find lowest core multi it'll boot with. Could also do the same at 1.2v. It'll only give you a rough idea if its good or not. I don't think costa chips have been anything outstanding overall but there might be a few good ones floating about.
