Haswell & Board?

Hey.

Do you recon i will be able to get a decent I7 Haswell & Board for £550?

Im doing a complete new build my budget is £2300 After everything else i'm left wth only £550 for the CPU & Board.

Am i in dream land expecting to get one for that budget?

I would think yes.

A mobo, shouldnt cost more than £150, leaving £400 for the cpu. Should be in budget easy.

Considering you can get a 3770k and Maximus V Formula under budget, I'd have thought you could get similar grade Haswell components for £550 as well.

because i want to take advantage of the 5% discount that starts tomorrow but runs out before Haswell's arrival

Given your budget and the video editing/3d rendering usage i'd have gone for x79 and i3930.
