Been happily running my Athlon BE 720 X3 for many a year, Arma 3 has dictated that although she is still a great chip, I need a new floosie.

No idea which chipsets are any good, worthless etc, heck, this will be my first Intel CPU since my P200 MMX.

Thanks for any help.

If you are lucky (like me) you can get a 4670k and a decent mobo for that price. You need to shop around and be patient though. I paid £242 delivered for a 4670k and Asus Z87-A last week. Both brand new and sealed. :D:D:D

I have just finished installing them and am trying to fathom out the bios and the bewildering number of options in it. Hopefully i shall put up a mini review comparing it to my i5 760 in a couple of days.

Not that bad but loads of stuff i have'nt got my head around yet. I am pleasantly surprised just how many options there are in the bios. Loads more than my old P55 board and that was the Pro version.

Bookmarked that page too!! It may come in handy when i try clocking it later. :D
