Am thinking about playing around with a fun little ITX water cooled build with the BitFenix Prodigy. Space may be tight but yeah, will see.

There are a few mod parts I need to sort out like cables etc but am likely to go for a different supplier for that since OcUK do not have anything that would suit.

Anyways here is where I have got to:

Thoughts? Budget, well is unknown but keeping it under 2k. For gaming and for working with CAD software, rendering etc also hence the i7 rather than i5 and 16GB of RAM.

AutoCAD itself uses around 6GB on day to day actives.

Cheers for the replies.

I am 65% gaming as this is home machine and only a little private work.

I am using autocad, revit and solidworks.

Did look at the team group. Between the timings and rated speed I was going to attempt to clock the dominator and it does look smarter. But I will certainly take that in mind. Thanks.

As for case, that could be interesting. I am in no rush. My tower is perfectly fine. Just wanting to something different so very much willing to wait on the right stuff.

Cheers all.

Oh and I have forgot to mention I have a Samsung 256gb 840 pro for my boot and game drive. The 3tb will be for storage really for work, music and movies.

Don't need a disc drive as will use external as and when needed.

Checking out what bitfenix are bringing out I am tempted for the phenom m. It just looks like a cleaner version of the Prodigy by removing the handles to keep the case smaller as per the form factor.

Very classy, plus it appears you can use the window panel from the prodigy as well assuming the main body is the same.
